EMDR LEVEL II Trained (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma, abuse, auto accidents, etc. EMDR has been shown to significantly reduce time in therapy and to effectively treat the physiological and psychological symptoms associated with trauma.

CROSS CULTURAL COUNSELING:
Having lived all over the USA in major metropolitan areas and having traveled extensively in Europe, South America, and North and South Asia, I am familiar with a variety of cultures and have no difficulty understanding those for whom English is a second language. I am also open and willing to learn about those cultures to which I have little exposure so that I may better understand and assist you with your difficulties.

GAY, LESBIAN, BISEXUAL, TRANSGENDER COMMUNITY:
I provide a compassionate, accepting, and validating environment for all those in the LGBT community.

PREMARITAL COUNSELING:
I strongly suggest premarital counseling for any couple that has not thoroughly and completely discussed areas such as finances, children, social time (apart, together, and family time), and communication styles. If you get married without a full understanding of those issues, you are setting yourself up for a visit to me later on when months or years of hurt and resentment have built up.
